Block Blast game overview
Block Blast is a placement puzzle about fitting groups of blocks onto a compact board. Each turn presents a small selection of shapes, and every shape must be placed before a new group arrives. Completing a horizontal row or vertical column clears those cells and creates space for future pieces. The rules are immediate, but the real puzzle comes from preserving flexibility. A placement can score points now while quietly creating an awkward pocket that no later shape can fill. Because there is no falling timer, Block Blast gives you room to compare options and build a plan before committing to the board.
Core gameplay
Every turn changes the value of the empty spaces around it. Long pieces need open lanes, square pieces need clean corners, and irregular shapes often fit best when the board has been kept smooth. Clearing a line is useful, but clearing several lines with one placement is even more valuable because it opens a larger connected area. The current three-piece group should be treated as one combined puzzle. A piece that looks impossible at first may fit after another shape completes a row. The order of placement therefore matters just as much as the final locations you choose.
Strategy and useful tips
Protect the center of the board and avoid scattering single empty cells where no available shape can reach them. Before placing the easiest piece, check whether one of the other two has only a single legal position. Handling the most restrictive shape first usually prevents a surprise dead end. Keep at least one long horizontal lane and one long vertical lane available whenever possible, since large bars can end a run on an otherwise open board. Do not chase every immediate clear. Sometimes a quiet placement that keeps the surface flat creates a stronger setup for the next group than a small line clear at the edge.
